The Carnival of Puerto del Carmen will take place on February 19, 20, 21 and 22, full of dreams and colors under the influence of the Roaring Twenties.

The Tías Town Council has chosen a theme that promises glamour, jazz, and boundless fun.

New this edition: the Day Carnival is being revived and the traditional Great Coso along Las Playas Avenue is being enhanced. The program will include murgas, comparsas, batucadas, and floats.

Costume inspiration: Fringe dresses, feathers, sequins, top hats, suspenders, tuxedos, pearl necklaces, and all the Art Deco style of the Charleston era.

As every year, the El Varadero area will be the epicenter of the festivities.

The float parade will take place on Saturday, February 21.

Followed by the traditional open-air dance with musical groups.

8:00 PM - Grand Carnival Gala, with performances by comparsas Los Guaracheros, Sur Caliente, and batucada Chimbay. Plaza del Varadero.

FRIDAY 20

5:00 PM - Traditional Puerto del Carmen Carnival, with the participation of groups Los Buches, Los Diabletes de Teguise, Las Libreras de El Palmar (Tenerife), Las Sábanas del Carnaval, Toritos de Tiagua, giants and big-heads. From Playa Chica to Plaza del Varadero.
